Research interests: Documentation and description of the Tibeto-Burman languages of Northeast India; Methods of language doucmentaiton (focusing on Meiteiron, Lamkang, Boro, Dimasa, Kokborok), language archiving, community documentation and collections, language and health, and language endangerment and political instability.
